Director Finance, NFDC,  Nazhat Shaikh said, “I really hope that it does well in the market because of the subject that it deals with. And if you see at the beginning of the trailer, it says, education doesn’t mean only knowledge it also gives you a lot of self-confidence and I think that it’s a very strong message which I feel is very relevant today though education is very basic, very relevant and it should go very strongly to everyone.”

Debutant director Uday Bhandarkar said, “Vees Mhanje Vees is film that shows the struggle of a girl to keep the school running. I feel a lot of people would related to the subject and enjoy the film.”

Avinash Arun, who won the 51st Maharashtra State Award for the cinematography of the film said, “When I passed out of FTII, I was looking for films to shoot as a cinematographer, I heard a lot of scripts but couldn’t find anything I could really relate with. Then Uday Bhandarkar called me for this and when I heard the idea, I could totally relate to it and I was like this is the film I would like to shoot and it was a fantastic experience shooting it. Especially Uday, he was directing his first film at the age of almost 55 – 56 and it was a huge inspiration for me because we shot at a lot of places – various villages and he was very patient and calm which I really liked.

He further added, “And NFDC produces a lot of good films and it backing such a beautiful subject is a great thing . A lot of people would relate to this subject, socially it’s a very relevant subject. Such films should come ahead, people should watch such films and definitely they will get entertained and at the same time, they’ll gain something out of it.”
