‘Padman‘ starring Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte is set to release next month. Even though the trailer is yet to release the makers of the film are keeping the audiences engaged with posters and stills from the film.

Akshay Kumar shared another poster of the film on his social media early today. He had written, “#PadManTalks : This pad giving woman two months extra life. Find out how… #PadMan, this Republic Day, 26.01.18”.

Sonam Kapoor, who has an important role in the movie, also tweeted the poster with the caption, “This Republic Day, be inspired and delighted with the story of a man who made a great change. Couldn’t be prouder to be part of this special story! #PadMan @PadManTheFilm @akshaykumar @radhika_apte @mrsfunnybones @SonyPicsIndia @kriarj #RBalki”

Twinkle Khanna, the debutant producer of PadMan, also tweeted the poster by saying, “The spotlight shines on this remarkable conversation and movie truly because of one man, my friend @murugaofficial the real #PadMan”. She is thanking Tamil Nadu-based social activist Arunachalam Muruganantham in her tweet, who has inspired Akshay Kumar’s character in the movie. Muruganantham had revolutionized the concept of menstrual hygiene in rural India by creating low-cost sanitary napkins. The movie is based on a chapter from her book ‘The Legend of Lakshmi Prasad’.

Releasing on 26th January, 2018, the comedy-drama film is directed by R.Balki (Cheeni Kum, Shamitabh and Ki & Ka).
