The makers of San 75 have decided to push back the release of the film to present it in the “best way.” San 75 staring Kay Kay Menon and Kirti Kulhari was slated to release on 1 July 2016 but from the looks of it, it will hit screens later this year.

The film is a stepping stone into the ‘Period Thriller’ genre, which has never been explored and carries a huge youth connect. The film’s plot revolves around the first mobile phone (prototype) being brought to India against the backdrop of the Emergency period. The reason of the delay is that the makers want to add the promotional song ‘Ghulaami’ in the film. The song is ready but it will take some time to shoot it and add it at the right place and hence the delay.

Kabir Lovee, producer of the film, says “We are shooting an exclusive video for Ghulaami and will use it for the film’s promotion. It’s going to be the next ‘Youth Anthem’ and will showcase India’s history with major events that have effected our great nation from 1975 till 2016”

According to the makers the delay in the release of the film will only help in maximizing the effect of the movie.
