Shekhar Kapur’s animated film on ‘Cockroaches’

Shekhar Kapur’s next film is an new animated venture based on ‘cockroaches.’  The music in the film is by AR Rahman and the songs are choreographed by Ahmed Khan. Last year, South director SS Rajamouli based his film Eega on a housefly.

The film apparently deals with the life of cockroaches and how they go about in their everyday routine. Shekhar has helmed the film along with a major animation studio.

Apparently, there are also plans to have the film dubbed in Hindi.  Titled A Suitable Cockroach, reports suggest the film is set in the future when the common household insect may be the only living organism on the planet.

The scenes were shot with regular actors and the film was later animated.
