‘Shortcut Romeo’ to premiere at Cannes

Director Susi Ganesh will be premiering his film Shortcut Romeo at the international festival as well.

The film which has Neil Nitin Mukesh, Ameesha Patel and Puja Gupta, will be screened at the French Riviera on May 22. The movie which is a remake of the director’s own superhit Tamil film, Thiruttu Payalae, features music by Himesh Reshammiya, while the story follows life of a filthy rich housewife, having an extra-marital relationship and  will go to any lengths to hide her affair from her husband.

While Neil plays a young, ambitious and immoral man, who even stoops to the level of blackmailing the lady to support his expensive tastes, Puja plays a victim caught in the crossfire.

Shortcut Romeo, produced by Susi Ganesh Productions, releases June 21.
