Stalwart music composer duo Kalyanji-Anandji composed music over the long span of era for noted films like Chhalia, Saraswatichandra, Kora Kagaz, Muqaddar Ka Sikandar and Qurbani. Known for versatility, they were especially popular for composing groovy music for action thrillers. They have given many popular songs, from the sad and somber ‘Mera Jeevan Kora Kagaz’ to the peppy dance number  – ‘Khaike Pan Banaraswala’. The duo was one of the first to start the trend of overseas live music concerts, accompanied by leading playback singers and stars.
