Akshay Kumar and Prabhudeva’s popular duo makes a comeback this time with all things, Punjabi. Not a sequel to the blockbuster hit, Singh is King, the new film, Singh is Bliing is reportedly on completely different grounds.

Singh is Bliing is an action comedy film directed by Prabhudheva and produced by Grazing Goat Pictures. The film features Akshay Kumar, Amy Jackson, Lara Dutta and Kay Kay Menon in lead roles. Akshay Kumar plays a wisecracker, Raftaar Singh born and brought up in Punjab. To avoid arranged marriage, he travels to Goa for work where he meets Amy Jackson and their love takes off for good. Kay Kay Menon will be seen playing a negative role in the film.

It was earlier announced that actor Akshay Kumar and director Prabhudheva would be reuniting for another film after their previous blockbuster, Rowdy Rathore. Later, it was confirmed that the film is titled Singh Is Bliing and is to be produced by Grazing Goat Pictures. A tentative date of July 31, 2015 was decided upon only to be changed to October 2, 2015.

The film is now scheduled for October 2, 2015.
