SRK and R Balki come together for social cause

Filmmaker R. Balki and actor Shah Rukh Khan have join hands for a short film based on a social cause. The film is set to release on March 8.

Sources reveal that Balki met Khan a few days ago in Mumbai to discuss the subject and that a few meetings later, the actor was roped in. Though the subject i kept under wraps, reports suggest that it will most likely be related to women, as it releases on March 8, which is Women’s Day.

Khan has shot for the part and Balki is in the process of editing it. This was their first-ever venture together and it has been reported that the duo bonded well on the sets and were heard talking about world cinema.

It had also been reported recently that the Cheeni Kum and Paa director plans to work with Khan and Amitabh Bachchan in his next directorial venture.The buzz doing the rounds is that Balki’s new film will be co-produced by Big B’s banner ABCL and SRK’s production house, Red Chillies Entertainment.
