Mira Nair’s The Reluctant Fundamentalist and Anand Gandhi’s Ship of Theseus will be screened at the 31st International Filmfest München. The festival will open on June 28 with the screening of Oscar winner Caroline Link’s Exit Marrakech.

Nair’s The Reluctant Fundamentalist will be screened under the Spotlight section that showcases films from some of the stalwarts in the field of direction in the world.

Gandhi’s Ship of Theseus is a part of “International Independents”, a section which according to the festival “combines breakthroughs, surprises and immaculate talent from around the world by primarily young directors who add a personal touch to their films.

Ship of Theseus has already won the Transylvania Trophy for best film at the recently concluded Transylvania Film Festival. It has earlier bagged awards at Tokyo, BFI London and Mumbai Film Festivals.

The film has screened at Toronto, Tokyo, Dubai, BFI London Film Festival, Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles and International Film Festival Rotterdam among others.

The multi-award winning film Ship of Theseus is scheduled to release in India on 19th July.
