Udta Punjab is a drama film written and directed by Abhishek Chaubey. Produced by Shobha Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor under their banner Balaji Motion Pictures in association with Phantom Films, it features Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor and Diljit Dosanjh in the lead roles. Principal photography of the film commenced in March 2015.

The film is scheduled for a worlwide release on 17 June 2016.
