After releasing the film’s teaser earlier in September, Vicky Kaushal shared the trailer of his upcoming film, Uri: The Surgical Strike today.

Written and directed by Aditya Dhar, Uri is based on the surgical strikes that the Indian Army’s Special Forces carried out across Line of Control (LoC) on September 29 in response to the deaths of 19 unarmed soldiers who were killed at Kashmir’s Uri basecamp on September 18, 2016, in an early morning attack by Pakistani terrorists.

Produced by Ronnie Screwvala’s RSVP Films, Uri: The Surgical Strike is slated to release on January 11, 2019

The film Stars Vicky Kaushal, Yami Gautam, Kriti Kulhari, Paresh Rawal (As Ajit Dowal) but focuses on Vicky’s character who just steals the show.

The already established actor (Vicky) proves his worth yet again with a very energetic role of an avenger in Indian Army leading his team to the famous surgical strike of 2016. From playing an officer of the Pakistan Army to now leading the elite force in the Indian Army, there’s nothing this man can not do on screen it seems.

With reminces of Sunny Deol, Sunil Shetty, Akshay Khanna starrer Border, URI: The Surgical Strike looks like it will establish him as a top bankable star actor like no other in the recent times.
