Vietnam hosts its first film festival, The inaugural Indian Film Festival Vietnam (IFFV) to bridge the gap between the entertainment industries of the two countries. The festival will begin from December 18, 2015 to December 23, 2015.

It will see producers of successful films like Saheb Biwi aur Gangster, Saheb Biwi aur Gangster Returns, Bullett Raja & Revolver Rani & CEO Wave Cinemas Rahul Mittra and directors Rakesh OmPrakash Mehra & Umesh Shukla will open this six-day fest.

The festival will be held at the National Cinema Centre in Hanoi. The line up of the films to be showcased includes “Bhaag Milkha Bhaag”, “3 Idiots”, “OMG – Oh My God!”, “Wake Up Sid”, “Paheli”, “Jodhaa Akbar”, “Dil Chahta Hai”, “Maqbool” and “Taare Zameen Par”, apart from others.

Apart from this, there will be a seminar on “Vietnam -India Cinema Cooperation and its role in Promotion of Tourism” and will be taken across Vietnam’s major cities in order to offer its exotic locations for future film shoots.
