The deadline for submissions for the 12th edition of NDFC Screenwriters’ Lab has been extended to 10th October 2018. 

The National Film Development Corporation of India is the central agency established to encourage good cinema movement in the country. The primary goal of the NFDC is to plan, promote and organize an integrated and efficient development of the Indian film industry and to foster excellence in cinema.

Under the mandate of film development NFDC lends prime focus to Screenwriting with a view to nurture deserving compelling narratives and stories. In 2007 NFDC Screenwriters’ Labs was initiated to assist Indian screenwriters to develop & re-examine their work with the singular view to bring out original audio-visual projects.

Since 2007 the Screenwriter’s Lab is a premier industry initiative that has developed 88 scripts till date.
