MIFF for documentaries, shorts and animationThe 13th edition of Mumbai International Film festival (MIFF) for documentary, short and animation films will begin from February 3 next year in Mumbai, announced in an official statement.

Organized by Films Division, Government of India, and Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the week-long film festival will be held at the National Centre for Performing Arts (NCPA).

Mr. VS Kundu, Director General, Films Division and Director, MIFF in a statement said that 13th MIFF has been reoriented in partnership with the stakeholders, as it has a goodwill among independent documentary and short film makers.

In the festival, a veteran Indian documentary filmmaker will also be honoured with V Shantaram Lifetime Achievement Award as well as the festival will pay tribute to the acclaimed documentary filmmaker late Peter Wintonick. He passed away on November 18, 2013.
