2 Indian films selected at 15th International Women’s Film Festival
The 15th International Women’s Film Festival will take place in Seoul. Two Indian films which are The Ghetto Girl by Ambarien Al Qadar and Reminiscence of Ether by Veena Kulkarni will be screened there.
19 films have been selected to compete for 4 awards among 373 films submitted to the festival. The festival will be held from May 24 -30, 2013.
Commissioned by the Public Service Broadcasting Trust, The Ghetto Girl is a personal documentary that unfolds as a third person narrative. It is about a girl who walks the streets and searches for a lost home movie, visiting and re-visiting some places.
Reminiscence of Ether revolves around Ruksar Khan, a successful investment banker living in London with roots in India, who is in the middle of a life changing decision.
