6 Hyderabad, the fashion mall and Fingerchop Films have announced that their latest venture “Mere Haule Dost” a coming of age story set against the backdrop of the city of Hyderabad is set to release on 7th June 2013. The movie is said to have a limited release in select cities in India. The film introduces new comers such as Anirudh Loka, Raghuvardhan Garlapati, Aadil Abedi, Rishit Samala, Kiran Gadalay, Preeti Gupta, Catherine Fallows, Zainab Lax, Yantisha Singh (Miss Andhra Pradesh – 2013), Babita Punetha, Natasha Pamnani (Miss Hyderabad Runner Up), Anand Natesh and Harika Vedula.

Nitin Raghunath who has directed films like Turjya, Kashish (selected for Cannes Short film Corner 2011) and Explorer (selected at the SanFrancisco Short Film Festival)is directing this film as well. Nitin was initially said to be a tech professional settled in the States before he changed his profession to direction and film making.

A comic book enthusiast and collector as well, Nitin Raghunath came up with the idea of publishing book based on the movie, titled With Friends which is now available online. Speaking about the movie, director Nitin Raghunath says, “Mere Haule Dost is a film that I envisioned when I was in college. I wanted to make something that was not too stylistic, yet had elements of nostalgia and vibe of a studio sitcom. “

Nitin’s wife Pramida is the producer of the film.
