Airlift Poster

Directed by Raja Menon, Airlift is based on the biggest evacuation of Indians based in Kuwait during the Iraq-Kuwait war of 1990.  The film revolves around the heroic true story of Ranjit Katyal (Akshay Kumar).

The film also features Nimrat Kaur of The Lunchbox fame. Produced by Nikhil Advani and his company Emmay Entertainment and presented by T-Series, the film will also star actor Purab Kohli amongst others.

Airlift is slated to release on 22 January.
