Entries are now open for the twelfth edition of the Berlinale Talent Campus. Interested candidates can apply in one of the categories: actor, cinematographer, director, distributor, editor, film critic, producer, production designer, screenwriter, sound designer/composer.

The Campus is looking for 300 film professionals in the first 10 years of their film-making career. Upon selection they will be invited to meet or work with first-class experts at the summit programme or in an array of project labs, studios and workshops, including various one-on-one meetings. All master classes, seminars and workshops are in English. Therefore an advanced knowledge of the English language is a basic condition for participation.

The candidate should have worked in a key crew position (i.e. actor, cinematographer, director, editor, screenwriter, production designer, producer, sound designer/composer) on at least two short films or one film of at least 60 minutes in length that were/was screened at an international film festival and/or awarded a prize.

For distributors: You have distributed at least two films.

For film critics: You have published at least three articles as a film critic

The application deadline is September 18, 2013.

The 12th Berlinale Talent Campus will be held from February 8 – 13, 2014. Berlinale Talent Campus is an initiative of the Berlin International Film Festival to which 300 promising film professional from all over the world are invited for a range of masterclasses and interactive panel discussions.
