Edinburgh International Film Festival line up announced

The line up of the 67th Edinburgh International Film Festival is out. Dibakar Banerjee’s political drama ‘Shanghai’ and Shivendra Singh Dungarpur’s documentary on Indian archivist P.K. Nair, ‘Cellulloid Man’, will be screened at the festival. While the former will be screened in the Directors’ Showcase section, Celluloid Man will represent India in the ‘Films on Film’ section.
‘I.D.’ by Kamal KM has been selected for International Feature Film competition.The competitive selection will be judged by acclaimed Korean director Bong Joon-Ho, Scottish film critic Siobhan Synnot, and actress Natalie Dormer.
This year the festival will showcase 146 features from 53 countries, including 14 World premieres, 6 International premieres and 10 European premieres.
The Festival will open with the European Premiere of Sundance hit ‘Breathe In’ and will wrap up with the World Premiere of John McKay’s ‘Not Another Happy Ending’.
The Edinburgh International Film festival will run from June 19-30, 2013.
