Kangana Ranaut is all set to don the director’s hat. The actress’ directorial debut is called ‘Teju’ and will see her playing an 80-year-old woman.

The film will be jointly produced by her production house Manikarnika Films and herself, in association with Paramhans Films of Shailesh Singh.

Teju is expected to go on floors in December and is targeting a 2018 release.

Kangana’s next release is Hansal Mehta’s Simran where she plays a NRI Gujarati housekeeper embroiled in a crime. The film will release on September 15, 2017.
