The Vicky Kaushal and Yami Gautam starrer ‘Uri : The Surgical Strike’ has successfully hit the 100 crore mark within 10 days of its’ release! Film Critic and Data Analyst Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter handle to reveal the success of the film with very high praise.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film is based on the actual surgical strike conducted by the Indian Army in 2016, in Kashmir. The film is a military drama that shows a surgical strike carried out by Indian armed forces on terrorist launch pads at the Pok.

The film is the first blockbuster of the year with the audience yearning to catch it in the theatres. Not only is the film a huge hit at the box office, reportedly, it is also the fastest for a medium budget film to cross the 100 crore mark.

With Vicky Kaushal in the lead, the film also stars Yami Gautam, Paresh Rawal, Kriti Kulhari and Mohit Raina and is produced by Ronnie Screwvala.
