‘Argo’, ‘Les Miserables’ score big at Golden Globes 2013 ‘Argo’ and ‘Les Miserables’ were the top winners at the 70th annual Golden Globe Awards held on Sunday night.

‘Argo’ took home the awards for both best drama and best director for Ben Affleck. ‘Les Miserables’ won the Golden Globe for best comedy or musical while Hugh Jackman won the Globe for best actor in a comedy or musical for his work in the film. Anne Hathaway scored the Golden Globe for best supporting actress in a comedy or musical for the film.

Spielberg’s ‘Lincoln’ which had seven nominations managed to win only one award – best actor for Daniel Day-Lewis.

Some of the other winners included Quentin Tarantino for Best Screenplay for the revisionist slavery drama ‘Django Unchained’ and Best Supporting Actor for Christopher Waltz; Jessica Chastain for the dramatic actress for ‘Zero Dark Thirty’ and Jennifer Lawrence as best musical or comedy actress for ‘Silver Linings Playbook’.

Ang Lee’s ‘Life of Pi’  took home the best original score award.  Composer Mychael Danna was presented the award by Jason Statham and Jennifer Lopez.
